Upon arrival at the Gettysburg National Military Park, you’ll be treated to a fresh, gourmet box lunch of your choosing! (We will reach out to you prior to the trip for your meal choices). We will then meet our licensed Battlefield Guide who will begin our three hour tour at 12:00 PM. Rigorously tested and licensed through the National Park Service, Licensed Battlefield Guides provide you with an informative, engaging and enlightening perspective of the battle, the people, the monuments and landmarks.
At Gettysburg you will see countless things on the battlefield – monuments, cannons, terrain features, etc. – that will attract your attention. Your guide will be able to tell you what you are seeing, and the stories behind what you see.
All trips and tours depart from Delaware Express, 2825 Ogletown Road, Newark DE 19713 (unless otherwise noted). No proof of purchase required. Load at 8:00 AM; depart at 8:30 AM. Depart Gettysburg 4:30 PM with meal/rest/snack stop (on your own) on the way home. We plan to arrive back at Delaware Express at approximately 7:30 PM.
