We meet at Heritage Inspirations Travel Hub & E-Bike Shop located inside of Inn & Spa at Loretto at 8am and return at 3pm.
Bandelier National Park is located 50 miles north west of Santa Fe. Our drive will be 1 hour each direction.

Involves some climbing and narrow places between rocks. We will climb 3 ladders along the trail.
2023 Tsankawi Closure*
Bandelier National Monument will temporarily close its Tsankawi Unit in mid-March 2023 due to extensive construction work. It is expected to reopen in late-October 2023. The final closure date will be posted on the park’s website once the construction schedule is finalized.

Bandelier | 1.25 miles
Hiking along paved trail and inclines on narrow stairs up to experience Cliff Dwellings and the Long House.
The dry New Mexico climate means dehydration can set in quickly, so carry at least 2 liters per person.
Trails can be rocky and uneven, especially on the Tsankawi ladder climbs, so hiking boots with good grip are recommended.
Use sunscreen and wear hats and sunglasses, as shade is limited along the trails.
Stay on marked trails and do not climb on the ancient ruins to help preserve them for future visitors.
