Spend a day with a naturalist guide to experience nature with a fun short hike, tasty picnic lunch and a relaxing soak in a natural hot spring. Water temperature varies. Listed at 98 degrees and can be cooler with snow melt. You'll hike near Granite Creek with its beaver ponds, cascading water, mountain views and natural hot springs. Lots of walks in the area. After the hike, you’ll soak in the hot pool and have a picnic lunch. Tour departs at 8 AM.


What to Bring

The high-elevation mountains and valleys of Wyoming and Idaho can bring a full range of weather on any given day of the year. It is not uncommon to see a 40 degree temperature change either. Layered, non-cotton clothing and appropriate outerwear is the key to staying comfortable in the mountains. Also note that freezing, windy weather can occur even in July and August. For your comfort and safety, please follow this list carefully. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to consult with us. And be sure to bring your camera!

We provide: Naturalist guide, transportation, bottled water, snacks or lunch, binoculars, guidebooks, butterfly nets, complimentary children’s activity book for all youngsters, backpacks, waistpacks, rain ponchos, and water filters.

You bring: An extra warm upper layer in case temperatures get cool while you are in the mountains. Bathing suit and towel and changing rooms available. Be sure to wear sturdy hiking shoes or boots. We provide rain ponchos if needed.
