Single sessions usually run from 10.00 to 13.00 or from 14.00 to 17.00. We can usually adjust these times to suit the customer. Evening sessions are also available by arrangement.
We usually recommend the dry Goatchurch Cavern for complete beginners but Swildon's Hole will certainly appeal to the more adventurous prepared for a soaking! A few narrow sections have to be negotiated before the cave expands to spectacular proportions. There are many fabulous stalactite formations to be admired and some waterfalls to be climbed. You will be kitted up in a special caving oversuit and equipped with a helmet, light and caver's belt. Wellington boots complete the outfit which we can also supply for you. You can find photographs and videos of all activity venues here.
There is a maximum of 9 persons for online bookings but we can take more! Please call for a quote.
We don't recommend Swildon's for children under 12 unless they have caved before - the cave is not especially difficult but the manhole entrance dropping into rushing water can be intimidating.
