Adventure Tips

Dress in breathable layers

Winter temperatures can vary, so wearing moisture-wicking base layers with insulation and a waterproof outer shell helps you stay comfortable.

Bring trekking poles

Poles improve balance and reduce knee strain, especially on uneven or steep snow-covered terrain.

Stay hydrated

Cold weather can mask dehydration, so carry water and drink regularly during your snowshoe tour.

Protect your eyes from glare

Snow reflects sunlight intensely—wear UV-protected sunglasses to prevent snow blindness.
