About

Head to local rivers and streams and wade for the day, stay afloat on our river raft, or enjoy a flatwater fishing experience on beautiful nearby stocked ponds in our Clacka-Craft drift boat. The full-day excursion includes a boxed lunch provided by the Woodstock Inn & Resort. See lunch options below! Minimum age is 12 years. Ages 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Bring your own equipment or use our Orvis gear.

Vermont fishing license is required for fishing everywhere and can be purchased online at the Vermont Fish & Wildlife website.

Our guides prefer to have a maximum of 3 people per guide to give the best attention for safety, however, this can be modified on a case-by-case basis.

Please note

Fishing License: Vermont Fishing licenses will be required if you fish on water (Under 16 not required). Youth License required for 17 year olds. A link to purchase this license will be sent via your booking confirmation email.

Transportation: After meeting your guide and getting outfitted, you will follow the guide in your own vehicle to the fishing location if you are casting on water.

What to bring

Equipment & Gear: We will provide Orvis equipment and gear. Full rod set up, flies, leader, tippet, waders, boots, vest, wading stick or you are welcome to bring your own.

Clothing: Layers are good. Dress for the temperature. Please bring a long sleeve shirt, hat and polarized glasses are helpful.
