Tyler is the newest guide at Fishing with Bernie, but while he is our newest guide he has been raised on the water and is as passionate about fishing as they come! He has countless hours honing his skills chasing lake trout, brown trout, rainbow trout and northern pike all over Grand County and the entire state of Colorado. Tyler provides both boat trips in the Spring, summer, and fall as well as ice fishing trips as soon as we can walk on the water safely. He is a Colorado native raised in the outdoor lifestyle, fishing is what he loves to do, works hard, shares his knowledge and experience making sure your day is fun filled and fishy. A day on the water with Tyler will be spent in his fully equipped 2024 Tracker 175. He likes to start out his day catching as many fish as possible, helping you learn the light biting lake trout bite. After you are successful catching and would like to try for one of Grand Lake's famous trophy lake trout, brown trout or rainbow trout with rest of day that is always an option too! All the gear necessary for fishing is provided, and if you would like to keep a few for dinner, your fish will be filleted and sent with you ready for you to cook!
