We offer boat transport from Geiranger to Skagehola and back every day, every hour from 10:00 to 18:00 throughout the summer season.
The transport is with high-speed RIB boats that are very stable and comfortable. At the same time, the trip goes at high speed so that you arrive in just under 15 minutes.
You can either buy a ticket one way or for a roundtrip.
The most common is to buy a ticket for a boat trip out and that you go all the way back to Geiranger. You will then be transported to Skagehola, which is located right down by the fjord and is the starting point for the mountain hike up to Skageflå.
The trips from Geiranger runs every full hour from kl. 09:00 to 19:00. Show up at least 5 minutes before and you will be assigned a life jacket. Remember sunglasses!
The trip back from Skagehola runs every hour from 10:45 to 18:45. You must then be ready by the fjord no later than ten past half (xx: 40).
The hike from Skagehola to Skageflå takes approx. 45 minutes each way.
You are welcome to bring a dog on the boat.
Age limit for kids is 3 years old.

The guest must be able to sit in an upright position, as well as have agility and normal strength in the upper body and legs. You must be able to hold a hoop with both hands. We do not recommend the tours for pregnant women or people with back, neck, leg injuries or heart problems. Age limit for children is 3 years.
Trips run every hour in summer but seats can fill fast during peak season; arrive 5 minutes ahead to secure your spot.
The trail to Skageflå involves uneven rock and steep sections requiring good traction and ankle support.
The boat ride and exposed hike sections leave you vulnerable to sun—don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen.
Rapid weather changes are common; strong winds or rain can impact boat schedules and trail safety.
Skageflå farm dates back to the 1600s when remote mountain farms thrived along the fjord, inhabited by hardy families subsisting on traditional farming.
