Spend the day with a Kuku Yalanji tour guide, learning about the Aboriginal people and how they use the natural environment.. Walk through the southern sections of the Daintree rainforest at the Mossman Gorge, and local coastal habitats including beaches and mangrove forest. Gain an insight into the different foods and medicines they utilise from nature, sample some bush tucker, collect shellfish and try traditional Aboriginal hunting practices, have a go at spear/boomerang throwing and if you are lucky, catch a mud crab. To complete the adventure cool off in a pristine freshwater stream.
