Only 45 miles from Anchorage, our Eklutna Lake Canyon Site offers a unique blend of adventure and comfort, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Alaskan wilderness without sacrificing comfort. Our canvas tents are the epitome of rustic luxury, providing you with a cozy and comfortable environment to rest your head after a day of exploration. Each tent is fitted with soft linens and warm comforters to ensure a good night's sleep, while still maintaining the authenticity of camping in the great outdoors.

One of the highlights of our site is the community fire pit and grill area, where guests can gather around the fire and take in the breathtaking views of the adjacent mountain ranges. Whether you're roasting marshmallows or just enjoying the company of fellow travelers, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

While our tents do not have electricity, we encourage guests to embrace the simplicity of life in the wilderness. Headlamps are encouraged for use during the few hours that the sun dips below the horizon, although there are solar powered lights on each tent the trip to the outhouse is more enjoyable with a portable light.

In addition to the comfort of our tents, our site is located in close proximity to a variety of outdoor activities, including over 25 miles of hiking, ATV trails, bike trails, water-sports, and equipment rental and guide services about a mile from your tent at Eklutna Lake.
