The French Quarter is still alive and kicking after 300 years. Learn all about the founding of this colony called New Orleans, its architecture, cuisine, music, local traditions, and all the different people who inhabited and developed the Quarter, or Vieux Carre (Old Square). We’ll head out from Jackson Square and go from on end to the other packing in 300 years of history in a 2 hour stroll through the Quarter with your guide Laura, whose ancestors arrived here in the late 1800s.
Please bring an umbrella, raincoat, comfy shoes and a bottle of water on the hot days.
