Forest Bathing (Shinrin-yoku) is the practice of immersion in the forest, actively engaging each of your five senses, and consciously connecting with what’s happening in the forest around you. ​ When practicing Shinrin-yoku, we feel more deeply connected to nature and our own bodies through conscious awareness of our senses responding to the environment.

As you wander along this winding pathway, embraced by the rustling canopy of mangroves, you'll find solace in the gentle rhythm of the Hawkesbury River's ebb and flow.

Start the walk at the Mangrove Boardwalk, where the tranquil atmosphere welcomes you to explore at your own pace. As you traverse this picturesque trail, you'll find yourself surrounded by the unique sights and sounds of the natural world.

Continue your exploration along the Gibberagong Track, a peaceful path that leads you deeper into the heart of the park. Here, amidst the tranquil surroundings, you'll discover a sense of peace and serenity that soothes the soul.

Venture further along the Rainforest Track, where the gentle babbling of a nearby creek accompanies your Forest Bathing experience. Surrounded by lush greenery and the refreshing scent of the forest, you'll feel a deep connection to the natural world !

The park gate opens at 8am.

*** Please pay the park entry ticket $12 at the entrance gate or at the ticketing machine allocates in the park.
