More ways to explore the area's outdoor wonders
You step off the shaded track into a pocket of Praslin’s inland forest where palms lean like old sailors and the trail rises with a steady, honest pitch. The path is compacted earth, threaded with roots and the occasional stone; within 20–30 minutes the canopy opens and the island’s contours spill out — an unobstructed 360° panorama of emerald valleys, the Indian Ocean, and distant islets daring you to look farther.
