The Glacier Institute has never turned a child away from camp due to finances. Our camps can be life-changing for kids, and we want ALL to join us.
Three Days - Program starts at 3:00 pm on Day One, and ends at 1:00 pm on Day Three
Ages 9-12 only This camp is great for both beginner and experienced fly-fishing kiddos alike! We will cover all of the basic skills a burgeoning fly angler needs, but most importantly, we will spend most of our time on the water fishing for some of Northwest Montana’s most iconic fish species. Fly fishing in Glacier National Park is a wonderful family activity, and we host a number of beginner level adult fly fishing day-courses for grown-ups who want to join their kiddos in this exciting new activity! Register fast before this opportunity wriggles away!
Please let us know as soon as possible if your child has any special requirements (dietary, medical, physical, etc.) so we may meet their needs. You may send snacks with your child, but all food must be stored in special bins in the Mess Hall to avoid any curious critters visiting our bunkhouses.
NOTE: A valid Montana fishing license is required for all campers 12 years and older. You can purchase a 3-day license for the camp dates or a full season fishing license. This information will be included in your confirmation and reminder emails.
