About

Field trips start at $150 for a 15-person group, and $10 per person/kid with a maximum of 100 at a time, we split into groups of 40. Parents and siblings are $10 as well. Teachers are free. We provide a guided educational tour in which we take you in to pet the animals, and you'll get to feed some of them!

We'll explain their life cycles and why we have them on our farm. Some are for eggs, milk, fiber, and or meat. You'll see lots of animals, like goats, alpacas, ostriches, rabbits, and more! Tours are about 40 minutes, sometimes longer if there are lots of relevant questions.

After the field trip, you can use the barn for a quick sack lunch (expect about 20 min).

More Info

  • A $150 nonrefundable but transferable deposit is needed to hold the date. We go rain or shine and all temperatures.

  • Please call to inquire about field trips for groups of more than 80 people.

  • We will go over safety expectations before we start the tour. You can prep the children by explaining we are a working farm, we will go in with the animals. We are not the same as a zoo or petting zoo where the animals are behind fences. These animals are here for a purpose. They still like treats and pets, but we hold our guests to a high standard for safety reasons. Kids are not allowed to scream and run around or chase any of the animals, some animals can be frightened by this behavior and will run away, spit, or kick.

  • If instructions are not being followed, we will speed up the tour or potentially end the tour early for the safety of the animals and the people.

  • We do ask that chaperons help the children follow these instructions and help children feed the animals if they require assistance.

  • It’s recommended to bring a bag for muddy/poopy boots and an extra change of shoes for after the tour. We are going in with the animals!

  • If you arrive late, that will cut into your tour time. We have others scheduled to use the barn space after you.

What to Bring

Activities go rain or shine. Expect dirt, animal droppings, and uneven slippery surfaces. Please bring or wear closed-toed shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Arrive On Time

Late arrivals reduce your tour duration and affect space availability for subsequent groups.

Follow Animal Interaction Guidelines

For safety, avoid shouting or chasing animals—calm behavior prevents animals from spitting or kicking.
