Adventure Tips

Wear quick-drying clothing and sunscreen

Since you'll be on the water most of the day, dressing in moisture-wicking layers and applying sunscreen helps keep you comfortable.

Bring plenty of water and snacks

Staying hydrated and energized ensures a more enjoyable paddle through the preserve's scenic routes.

Check tide schedules before going

Timing your trip around low tide can maximize your chances of passing through narrow mangrove passages.
