About This Adventure

Embark on a transformative journey through the Civil Rights Movement from October 19 to 24, 2025, exploring Selma, Montgomery, and Birmingham. Engage with inspiring speakers and participate in a meaningful Historic Preservation Day of Service on October 25, honoring the legacies of civil rights legends while making a lasting impact.

The Civil and Voting Rights Tour and Historic Preservation Day of Service offers a powerful and immersive journey through the heart of the Civil Rights Movement. Taking place from October 19 to 24, 2025, this five-day, four-night experience will lead participants through the historic cities of Selma, Montgomery, and Birmingham, visiting landmark sites that tell the story of America’s struggle for equality and justice. Throughout the tour, guests will hear from special guest speakers and take part in presentations centered on the enduring impact of civil and voting rights movements, as well as the importance of preserving these stories for future generations.

In addition to the tour, participants are invited to stay for the Historic Preservation Day of Service on October 25, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This special day is dedicated to giving back by engaging in a community-based volunteer project that supports the preservation of the legacies of living civil rights legends. Supplies and materials for this service project are included in the package for those who choose to participate.

Two tour packages are available. The Tour Only Package includes five days and four nights of accommodations and all necessary supplies for the tour at a rate of $1,299.99 for a double (shared) room. For those who wish to include the Day of Service, the Tour + Volunteer Project Package is available for $1,369.99, covering six days and five nights and helping offset the costs of supplies and materials needed for the community project.

Flexible payment options are available. For the double room packages, guests may choose to pay in full or split the total into two payments. The first non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is due by August 15, 2025, and the remaining balance—plus applicable fees—must be paid by September 15, 2025.

Because deposits are submitted to our vendors and are non-refundable, purchasing travel insurance is strongly encouraged. We recommend VisitorsCoverage for reliable and flexible insurance options. You can secure your policy using this link: https://visitorscoverage.tp.st/KUPS8Tka

Please note: After making the first payment, the remaining balance will need to be manually entered when completing the second payment.

This tour is more than a trip—it is an opportunity to walk in the footsteps of history, reflect on the progress made, and take part in the ongoing work of community preservation. We invite you to join us for an unforgettable journey of education, inspiration, and service.
