We meet right outside El Convento Hotel so you’ll learn about Old San Juan’s oldest sections as you make your way with our bilingual tour guide to El Morro. The fort sits atop a high promontory overlooking San Juan Bay’s entrance. It was used not only by the Spanish in colonial times, but by the United States military in WWII.
El Morro has many stories and legends. Come hear many of them and leave with a better understanding of the history behind the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, its unique ties to the United States and its role as a military defense system that still endures to this day.
