Are you ready for our thrilling 12 mile journey along the Arkansas Illinois River? This expedition begins with a shuttle to the Chamber Springs Public Access, where you will then paddle downstream. The first 8 miles unfold with great fishing opportunities, bridges and the occasional obstacle in the form of downed trees, offering a true experience, requiring skill and concentration from paddlers. It concludes with the Class I & II rapids at the Siloam Springs Kayak park and then the final 4 miles of The OG float, featuring tranquil waters and opportunities to relax on rocky beaches before reaching your vehicle at the Gypsy Camp take out.
HWY 16 BRIDGE MUST BE AT 250 CFS FOR US TO RUN THIS STRETCH OF THE RIVER. IF LEVELS ARE TOO LOW ON THE DAY OF YOUR FLOAT OR THERE ARE UNSAFE CONDITIONS, YOU WILL BE RESCHEDULED TO THE 4 MILE FLOAT AND REFUNDED THE DIFFERENCE.
We do not allow walk-ins for this all day paddle. You must make a reservation. We don't offer refunds or rescheduling unless we close for the day due to unsafe weather conditions.
