Historic Urbanna Creek is a small tidal tributary to the Rappahannock River in Middlesex County. Prior to settlement, this area was busy with Native American activity. In the last 400 years, the are was a harbor and hub for the colonial tobacco trade, Chesapeake Bay schooners, then steamboats, then crab and oyster watermen boats and the recreational sail and motorboats. Before or after your tour, dine in the Town of Urbanna and visit the Town's Visitor Center and Museum.
