Visit the remains of the Swedish Iron Age and a visit to the countryside around Angarnsjöängen nature reserve: Visit a A viking assembly place, a ancient grave field, a iron age hillfort and 3 so called "king's burrial mounds" over 30m i diameter and 4m high.
At Vada 3 big mounds rise over the lanscape: the Vada burial mounds. They are the only remnants of an ancient Iron Age power centre by the Långhundra waterway, one of the most important trading routes in Sweden during the Iron Age. 3 large burial mounds (two over 30 meters in diameter) dominate the landscape and are surrounded by more than hundred of graves. The tour starts at Stockholm with hotel pick up. Than travels north into the sububrs and out on the countryside by a beaten not paved road and hold runestones and farm names going back to 300-400AD. The viking assembly place we visit fist are on of the best preserved in Sweden with two runestones. Hear about the vikings and the assembly tradition and some of their laws that we know of. Than we travel to a big burrial field, a grave yard that have been used during most of the iron age. It still holds a lot of visible graves. Than we stop at Lingsbergs farm veiwing its mighty runestone found closeby and venture up the hill into the hillfort a mighty noble livedclose by at 200AD.
