You'll need this to tow the pontoon boat from the rental location to the lake, about 2 miles away.
Every boat captain must present a valid license to receive the safety briefing and temporary captain’s certification.
The pontoon boat holds a maximum of 10 guests, including children, to comply with safety regulations.
Pets are welcome but limited to two per boat to ensure safety and comfort aboard.
Summersville Lake was created in the 1960s by damming the Gauley River, transforming the area into West Virginia’s largest lake and recreational focal point.
The lake and surrounding Monongahela National Forest follow strict guidelines to preserve water quality and protect native species, encouraging responsible boating and catch-and-release fishing.
The bimini top offers shade, but additional sun protection is vital for longer outings during warmer months.
