As a special treat on National Estuaries Day only, immerse yourself in some of the most beautiful areas of wild Southwest Florida during a 30-minute "sneak peek" boat ride similar to the longer experiences offered by Friends of Rookery Bay and our exclusive eco-tour provider, the award-winning Rising Tide Explorers.
During this nature cruise captained by a local biologist, you will meander through the calm and shallow backwaters of Rookery Bay Research Reserve while learning about the local flora and fauna and how they fit into the complex tapestry of this special part of the Western Everglades.
Keep an eye out for dolphins, manatees, bald eagles, wading birds, and many more of the area’s inhabitants.
