Our Glenfinnan Day Tour is a mystical adventure through breathtaking glens, soaring mountains, and iconic film locations — perfect for Harry Potter fans and lovers of magic alike.
First Stop: Callander – The Gateway to the Highlands Our magical journey begins in the charming village of Callander. With cobbled streets and Highland charm, it feels like the kind of place Hagrid might stop for tea with a dragon in tow. Breathe in the crisp air and feel the first stirrings of adventure.
The Three Sisters – Guardians of Glencoe As the mist parts, the towering Three Sisters rise before you — majestic and mysterious. These dramatic peaks echo with ancient magic, a place where the hills whisper secrets and every shadow hides a story. It’s easy to imagine hippogriffs soaring above.
Glencoe Visitor Centre – Into the Forbidden Valley Step into the world of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as we explore the haunting beauty of Glencoe. This is where Hagrid’s Hut once stood, where Buckbeak flew, and where magic clings to every stone. Walk the trails and feel the veil between worlds grow thin.
Fort William – Shadows of the Hogwarts Express In the shadow of Ben Nevis, Fort William is a Highland town with wizardly charm. Whether you're grabbing a bite or simply soaking in the scenery, you might just hear the faint whistle of the Hogwarts Express echoing through the glen.
Glenfinnan – Behold the Viaduct The moment all magical travelers await. Stand before the legendary Glenfinnan Viaduct, where the real-life Hogwarts Express steams across the high arches in a breathtaking scene that fans will instantly recognize. If the timing is right ( approx 3.10pm) you’ll witness the Jacobite Steam Train pass by — a true goosebumps moment.
**Please note, the train is owned and operated by another company. We do not have control whether the train will be on time or not in service.
Final Stop: Pitlochry – A Storybook Farewell Our final stop is the picturesque town of Pitlochry. With its fairytale streets and gentle riverside walks, it’s the perfect place to end your day. Reflect on your magical journey, pick up a keepsake or two, and carry the enchantment home.
