On this tour we will unveil part of the city's main sites. Starting by the Alfama quarter, its views, narrow streets and Lisbon's 12th century Cathedral, which is one of the highlights of the quarter.
I will share with you some curiosities and funny stories that will bring Alfama back to life! The walk will continue towards the downtown area, rebuilt after the earthquake of 1755, by the Marquis of Pombal - an enlightened man who wanted an enlightened city. Not only will we unveil his idea, but also understand the city's development throughout the centuries and see its main squares (Trade and Rossio Square).
We will finish the tour tasting a delicious Pastel de Nata.
