While the Koala Visitor & Education Centre opens in December 2024, enjoy the thrill of Wildnets Adventure Park, explore serene forest pathways, and snap a selfie with the iconic Big Koala, all while supporting endangered wildlife.
Generous donations to our Port Macquarie Koala Hospital following the Black Summer Bushfires helped us realise our goal of building a Wild Koala Breeding Program and Visitor Centre in Cowarra State Forest (just off the Port Macquarie highway interchange). You will find us at 'Guulabaa- Place of Koala’ (Gathang language).

We've partnered with Bunyah Land Council, Forestry Corporation of NSW, The Hello Koalas Sculpture Trail and Wildnets Adventure Park to make Guulabaa a fantastic and welcoming place for the public to visit, learn and play.

*Our koala breeding yards are kept away from public view as it’s essential to keep them as close to the wild habitat as possible. However, you’ll likely spot some of our resident koalas!
Stay on designated decks and pathways to keep koalas undisturbed in their natural habitat.
Carry binoculars to catch glimpses of koalas nesting in the trees beyond the viewing decks.
Choose sturdy shoes for walking forest trails and exploring the adventure park safely.
