Come see where it all began. Nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountain Front, the Montana Dinosaur Center is smack dab in the middle of dinosaur country! This is the area where North America's first dinosaur eggs were found and even the world's first baby dinosaurs (Which are on display at the museum.)! We firmly believe that the best way to learn is through a hands-on experience. It is because of this that we are one of the only museums in the state that allows you, the public, to get up close and personal with dinosaur excavations through our dig programs. Not into the dirt thing? Check out our museum gallery, complete with a window into our preparation lab. There's plenty to do outside of Bynum, too, like visiting the Old Trail Museum or hiking up Blackleaf Canyon.
