  • Description: Bordering the southern side of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Bryson City is a laid-back, non-touristy town of 1,500 with more stop signs than stoplights. It’s an easily stroll-able town with local bookstores, arts and crafts galleries with working artisans, a bike shop, two fly fishing shops, a historical museum, a fly fishing museum, an aquarium, an excursion train, two breweries, and a surprising variety of restaurants. 
  • Pick up location #1: Black Mountain Visitor Center located at 201 East State Street, Black Mountain, NC 28711 Pick up time: 8:30am
  • Pick up location #2: Asheville Visitor Center located at 36 Montford Avenue, Asheville NC Pick up time: 9am
  • Stop #1: Swain County Visitor Center and Heritage Museum (this will be the drop off and pick up location) 12:30pm lunch at Pasqualino’s Italian Restaurant (fee not included in price) 2pm Depart from the Swain County Visitor Center and Heritage Museum
  • Drop off #1: Asheville Visitor Center located at 36 Montford Avenue, Asheville NC Drop off time: Approximately 3:15pm
  • Drop off location #2: Black Mountain Visitor Center located at 201 East State Street, Black Mountain, NC 28711 Drop off time: Approximately 3:45pm
