The walk follows one of Anglesey’s most scenic walks. With the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) and the Llyn Peninsular as a backdrop, the cliff top route includes an ancient well, two sea arches and a stunning view with every step. There is also wildlife in abundance and you will frequently see Chough, Peregrine, and Seals, not to mention our resident mountain goat.
The walk will run from Rhoscolyn Church LL65 2SQ, there is parking around the Church for a few cars.
The walk is of moderate difficulty and usually lasts 2-3 hours. The majority of the walk is on the Anglesey Coastal Path although there is an area where there is an option of scrambling a short section over a few rocks to get to a particular feature. The path is slippy in places when wet and there are rocky uneven stretches around Rhoscolyn Head. It can also get muddy in places. Boots are a good idea, and we will need to dress for the weather as it is an exposed area on the cliff top.
