Traverse through enchanting woods, snow-covered dunes, and the stunning Knik River Valley, all while marveling at snowcapped mountains and Knik Glacier. Capture unforgettable moments as you explore this winter wonderland on horseback.

Weather permitting, we will journey through the our lovely backyard woods out into the snow covered sand dunes and the open expanse of the Knik River Valley. As we take in the views of our amazing snowcapped mountains and Knik Glacier, we may cross through some water of Jim Creek, or over the frozen river, stop for some pictures, and then make our way back to our ranch.
We do require all participants to be able to mount their horse from the ground with little to no help, as we do not offer mounting blocks. Please asses your personal ability before booking.
Wear moisture-wicking base layers and insulated outerwear to stay warm during the ride.
Ensure your footwear can handle snow and slush for a comfortable experience.
Use a balaclava and insulated gloves to guard against cold wind and frostbite.
Stay with the group and listen carefully to the guide for safety on uneven winter trails.
