About This Adventure

Embark on an unforgettable husky safari in Rovaniemi, where you'll steer your own sled through the breathtaking Arctic Forest. Enjoy a thrilling 6-10 km ride with a team of enthusiastic huskies, take memorable photos, and warm up with Finnish snacks at the cozy kota after your adventure.

Join our husky safari in Rovaniemi and live with us one of the most exciting moments in your lifetime. You will drive with our enthusiastic huskies 🐺 through the Artic Forest! The tour is approximately 6/10 km long.

The tour:

It starts at Parpalandia farm where, thanks to our guides, you will learn some safety instructions for the excursion. After that, you will take place in the sled and start to steer your own husky team through the Artic Forest. In the middle of the tour we will take a break in order to take pictures or to simply admire the landscape around us.

How you will drive:

Normally 2 people share a sled: one is standing and steering the sled, the other one is sitting on the sled (is also possible to change the position in the middle of the tour). Small children can sit in the sled together with an adult. We also offer you the solo-driving option if you prefer to live the experience alone.

Dogs:

Every team is accompanied by 4 - 6 dogs who will run at different speeds depending on the weather conditions

The end of the tour:

Once you arrive back at the kennel, we are pleased to invite you to our kota where you can warm up and learn more about huskies and Parpalandia. Inside you can find a small Finnish barbecue and try sausages (makkara), cookies, and hot juice.

Memories:

We offer you the opportunity to buy a “Husky Musher Driving license” for you or your child. It is also possible to buy our small souvenir.
