About

Your captain and guide will meet you just outside the cruise gate and the boat is docked right next to the meeting point, just 10 meters away. You will get a flotation suit, life jacket and goggles before stepping onboard. Then it’s time to take your seat and let the activity commence.

After a safety brief we ready we will depart out of the harbour with good views of the cruise ship and the village of Nordfjordeid.

Moving away from the city and into the open fjords the pace will soon pick up. The scenery swiftly changes as the cityscape is replaced with views of the fjords and the surrounding mountains. Out on the open waters, you’re bound to experience an adrenaline rush, as your Captain revs the engine and takes you on a thrilling high-speed journey.

There will be several stops during the trip for both storytelling and photo, but you will stay in the boat for the whole trip.

The first stop is at a salmon farm where you will get the story about Norwegian Salmon. We move further into the Nordfjord and can experience the mountains rising. We will take you all the way into a waterfall where you are able to taste fresh glacier water. In additions to tasty water the waterfalls also provide the opportunity to give sustainable energy. You will be able to see a hydropower plant and learn how this works.

This area is not only very picturesque, but it also has a very special culture landscape. Learn stories about the people that lived here and taste the special cheese they made.

Out on the blue Fjord you will have spectacular surroundings and the top of the mountains rising 1500 meters above the Fjord you can see a glimpse of the Ålfoten glacier. If you are lucky, you can experience but eagles and porpoises.

Crossing the Fjord and you will see traditional Norwegian Farms. Because of the Fjord and the many hours of daylight in the summer season it is very good conditions for cultivation in this area. Apples are one of the most common fruits in the Fjords and you will get a taste of freshly produced apple juice from one of the local farms and a little local sausage snack based on sheep meat.

After the exploration in this special area, we pace up the speed again while we are crossing the Eidsfjord and you will feel the power of 600 hp while we are cruising in up to 50 knots back to the port of Nordfjordeid.
