About This Adventure

Embark on a serene reindeer sleigh ride through the enchanting polar night forest. Experience the magical interplay of snow, moonlight, and possibly the Northern lights. Interact with trained reindeer, learn about herding traditions, and enjoy a cozy snack by an open fire under the starry sky. A truly unforgettable adventure awaits!

About

In the noiseless sleigh ride you will get into Lappish forest, hear melody of winter and experience magical light of snow and colors of polar night forest. You are even able to enjoy the Moonlight, stars and Northern lights, if nature will serve them to us. During the program you will get in touch with trained reindeer and feed them with lichen and we will tell you how to handle and treat reindeer and also you will get to know what means reindeer husbandry. In the middle of the tour we will stop at open shelter to enjoy the polar night sky by the open fire with small snack.

• This tour is possible to book until 22.00 previous night unless otherwise mentioned. • Please note; as the Northern lights is the natural phenomenon we can not guarantee of seeing the Northern lights. • This tour price includes pick up from Levi center. Please be at the place of pick-up at least 5 minutes before marked program starting time. If you do not wish to be picked up, you can arrive to our farm with your own car, instructions for arriving to our farm under "Meeting point". The price is the same whether you choose pick up or not. • In case you have a special diet or other condition we should know about, please inform us about it in the online book form!

Agenda

Please be at the place of pick-up 5 minutes before the marked program starting time.

After pick up you are brought to our family owned husky, horse and reindeer farm. On our farm you will meet the reindeer and learn about the tradition of reindeer herding. Then it is time to start the sleigh ride: experience magical light of snow and colors of polar night forest. At midpoint of the sleigh ride we will stop for a break at open shelter and enjoy a snack by open fire while looking the northern sky. You also get to feed the reindeer with lichen. After the program you will be dropped off back to the pick up point.

Please note: If special arrangements (e.g. additional transport) are required for participation in the program, Polar Lights Tours will not be responsible for the extra costs.
