Guests will have the opportunity to cruise through the Rookery Bay Reserve as the sun sits low in the sky and observe the famous bird rookery island on your way to a remote part of Keewaydin Island for some beach combing and a beautiful SWFL sunset. Take a short hike across from our private dock to the beach on this secluded part of Keewaydin Island that is renowned for its shell-strewn beaches and pastel sunsets! Enjoy the private beach until the magical moment when the sun sinks into the Gulf and the full moon rises above the horizon. As darkness gradually enfolds you, stroll back across the island to begin the leisurely return cruise through the back bays of the reserve, becoming immersed in the sights, sounds and sensations of night in a mangrove-forested estuary under the light of the full moon.
