A perfect trek for trekkers who do not have the time to trek to the Everest base camp but still want to appreciate some of the beautiful elements of Khumbu and experience some of the unique cultures deep within the Himalayas. We start our adventure by flying into Lukla in the Khumbu region. We then trek up to Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital of the world and a unique trading point where both Tibetan and Nepalese people sell their wares. You spend an extra day in Namche before walking up to Khumjung village, where the infamous “Yeti Scalp” is kept in a Monastery and Kunde village for spectacular views of the Himalayas, including Everest.
Am I too young or old? Most of our clients, from 3 years old to some in their 70s, have done and completed their treks with almost no exercise or training.
