Departing from the Georgetown waterfront, this guided cruise is led by your expert guide from DC Design Tours and operated in partnership with the professional crew of Capitol River Cruises. As you sail south along the Potomac, enjoy live architectural and historical commentary while taking in stunning views of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, Teddy Roosevelt Island, the Arlington Memorial Bridge, the National Mall, and the Tidal Basin.

From the comfort of a covered boat, you’ll learn about the city’s most celebrated landmarks—including the Lincoln Memorial, Watergate Hotel, Arlington National Cemetery, the Pentagon, and the Kennedy Center—as well as fascinating lesser-known sites like the C&O Canal, LBJ Memorial Grove, and Navy-Merchant Marine Memorial.

Cancellation Policy

Tours run rain or shine, except in cases of extreme weather. If your tour is canceled due to weather, we’ll notify you by email, phone, and text, and you’ll receive a full refund. Otherwise, tickets to our public cruises are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend your scheduled cruise, you may be eligible to reschedule based on availability. A $5.00 per ticket rebooking fee applies.
