Great Cumbrae is the largest of the Cumbrae islands. Sitting just off the Ayrshire coast, Great Cumbrae has been a popular holiday and day trip destination for decades. The main town on the island is Millport with its pretty coves and sheltered bay.
The island is quite flat making it popular with cyclist.
The waters around Great Cumbrae is home to a wide range of species and we regularly spot pods of dolphins and porpoise on our trips. The waters here even attract basking sharks to feed.
The trip offers great views of the Cumbrae Isles, the clyde coast and the coast line of Bute (with Mount Stuart poking through the trees).
