One of our most popular tours, this excursion offers an extensive and rich history of Amelia and Cumberland Island with views of wildlife along the way. We cruise by Fernandina’s shrimp boats, historic Old Town, Ft. Clinch State Park, and we look for the wild horses of Cumberland Island. We will share the fascinating history about the ruins of the Carnegie family’s Dungeoness Mansion and the all-inclusive Greyfield Inn. Our historians will share the colorful stories that define the character of this unique part of the world. You are encouraged to take lots of pictures on the cruises!
Please bring a light jacket or garment depending on the weather for your own comfort (recommended Fall through early Spring). Don’t forget to bring your camera, binoculars, sunglasses, and sunscreen! We have cold water aboard for a $1 donation. There is no fee to bring your own food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
