The National Road Transport Hall of Fame is one of Alice Springs' most popular tourist attractions. The precinct includes several pavilions housing old trucks and themed displays, the Kenworth Dealer Hall of Fame , the prestigious Shell Rimula Wall of Fame where our road transport pioneers are honoured, the Old Ghan Train Museum , a resource library and several function and event venues. The museums house some of the rarest road vehicles in Australia as well as three locomotives.
The Museum and grounds have accessible amenities in 2 locations, both equipped with railings and large stalls; One attached to the Old Ghan Museum (Reception) and the other between the Kenworth Shed and the trucks in Action (Red shed).
The Public Bus has a lift for people with mobility aids, and the carpark is accessible. A baby change table has been provided in the old ghan amenities.
The Road Transport Museum incorporates, the Wall of Fame, Kenworth Dealers Hall of Fame, Old Ghan train museum and RSL War Museum. It is a large complex, please allow a couple of hours in order to view all our exhibits and displays.

Outdoor exhibits mean you'll spend a lot of time in the sun; hats and sunscreen are recommended.
