Enjoy a unique evening in the heart of Edinburgh, discovering the incredible variety that Scottish cuisine holds, accompanied by melodies from the land played by local musicians that will allow you to immerse yourself in the country’s culture and journey through the history of Scotland’s wonderful folk music.

We offer you an experience that will immerse you in the rich Scottish culture in every way. Our reception begins with the emotive sound of a Scottish bagpiper who will welcome you with their traditional music, along with a fun photocall where you can capture unforgettable moments.

Once the reception is over, you will be led to our dining room, where a special evening filled with flavor and music awaits you.

Our menu (below) includes two exquisite dishes and a dessert that will allow you to discover a part of this country’s gastronomy, and a beverage is included to accompany your meal.

While you enjoy your dinner, you will be accompanied by two musicians who will guide you through a fascinating journey through the history of Scottish folk music, from melodic ballads to lively traditional songs, learning about the stories behind them.

At the end of this experience, you have the option to complete your evening with an additional touch of Scottish authenticity, with a tasting of Scottish whisky and an expert who will guide you through the unique flavors and aromas of this iconic drink.

STARTERS

  • Scotch broth (vegan): Traditional Scottish vegetables and pulses served with homemade baked bread.
  • Cullen Skink: Smoked North Sea haddock, leek, potato and cream chowder.

MAINS

  • Haggis, neeps ‘n’ tatties (vegan and vegeterian option available): Haggis balls fried in delicious batter and served with turnips, potatoes and whisky cream sauce
  • Salmon: Fillet of Scottish salmon, baby potatoes and sauteed greens, white wine sauce with dill
  • Fish ‘n’ chips: Local battered and fried haddock served with chips, peas and homemade tartare sauce.
  • Rumbledethumps: Traditional Scottish fare of buttery mash, cabbage and swede, baked until golden brown and crispy.

DESSERT

  • Cranachan: Cream (with honey and whisky), toasted oatmeal and raspberries.
  • Chocolate brownie (vegan): Served with a delicious non-dairy cream and a handful of dark fruits.
