Five-Senses Nature Writing With Wild Basin's Artist in Residence, Sarah Cypher
This writing and sensory workshop is designed for adults (18+) who find joy and expression in writing or just like to get outdoors and try something new.
Reconnect with nature in this immersive writing workshop set in an urban wildlife preserve. Experience the environment through all five senses—listen to the sounds, feel the textures, and observe the details of the natural world. Whether you're a poet, prose writer, or just love language, this workshop offers the opportunity to deepen your creative practice. Together, we'll explore examples of nature writing, engage with Wild Basin’s surroundings using sketching and observation, and allow the landscape to inspire fresh perspectives on details we might otherwise miss.
This workshop is for adults (18+) at any level of writing or art-making experience.
