About

These crack climbing clinics are going to be FILLED with crack addicts! Tom Randall and Pete Whittaker aka The Wide Boyz are teaming up with Moab’s one and only Mary Eden aka TradPrincess. The wide Boys are known for completing the first free ascent of Century Crack (5.14a), a 160-foot (49 m) off-width in Canyonlands National Park, Utah. The crack is considered the hardest off-width crack climb in the world! Not to be considered one trick ponies the Wide Boyz then went and freed squamish's Cobra Crack in 2013. The duo has since kept climbing 5.14 cracks and establishing ridiculously hard first ascents. The cheeky pair of decidedly hilarious hard climbers are teaming up with TradPrincess a local climbing guide, photographer and crack obsessed ginger!

This clinic is run by AMGA Single Pitch Instructor Mary Eden and coached by Tom and Pete. The AMGA is the premier U.S. organization and the only internationally-recognized certifying body for Rock, Alpine and Ski Mountaineering guides.

In short, we want to share climbing and this place, that we love so much, with you!

Our number one goal for the clinic is to provide you with a sense of accomplishment! We want you to achieve and exceed goals that you didn’t think you could reach and will work hard to make that happen. We want you to leave our clinic with gobies, tired muscles, new skills, a new or enhanced appreciation for our delicate ecosystem and the history of how this beautiful place came to be. We also hope that you leave our clinic with new friendships, partners to climb with and HUGE smiles!

It is for these reasons and so many more that we hope you choose our clinic to experience the most unique and inspiring climbing that this beautiful desert has to offer. We hope you join us for one of these hand-jamming, fist-stacking, ring-locking, silly-joking, fart-throwing, s’more-making trips of a lifetime!
