About

Offwidth camp is 3 days of learning the secrets of offwidth techniques from world-class offwidth athletes; Girl’s Gone Wide Mary Eden and Kaya Lindsay with honorary Boy Gone Wide Danny Parker who did the 2nd free ascent of The Century Crack. This crazy cast of characters has ticked some of the hardest offwidths in the world and are excited to show you how much fun and unique offwidth climbing can be. This clinic is all genders welcome with the fitness requirement of being able to top rope 5.9 any style. Bring your long sleeves, tape, high-top shoes, tolerance for goofiness, and a try-hard attitude.

This 3-day immersive experience includes an impressive number of supervised crack routes, near-unlimited access to trad gear, professional photography of you in action, and individualized coaching from Mary and guest instructors.

Crack Camp alums have cited Crack Camp as the most significant experience of their climbing careers, not just because of the high-volume training and exposure to classic Indian Creek routes, but also because of the climbing partnerships and friendships formed.

Adventure Tips

Wear gloves or tape your hands

Protect your skin on abrasive sandstone cracks by using climbing gloves or tape, especially for offwidth sections.

Stay hydrated in dry desert conditions

Bring plenty of water and electrolytes; the dry Utah climate can quickly dehydrate you during long climbing sessions.

Use proper crack climbing techniques

Focus on hand jams, fist jams, and footwork to conserve energy and avoid injury on offwidth cracks.

Arrive early for cooler temperatures

Start climbing early in the day to avoid the intense midday heat common in Moab during summer months.
