Congo Nature Preserve was developed to protect area lands along the canyon within Congo, Alabama. Congo Alabama is a recently discovered, lost historical community from the late 1800s named Congo. We want to preserve these lands to be discovered and enjoyed by our future generations. Come enjoy the view!

We highly suggest booking your permits in advance. There is limited cell service at the falls. Also to make things smoother have a screenshot of your permits or have them printed to make sure there is easy access for Park Ranger.
