About This Adventure

Embark on an exhilarating 12-hour hike across the stunning Austanbotntind massif, starting at Berdalsbandet. Experience breathtaking views as you conquer one main peak and five secondary peaks, all above 2000 meters. This challenging traverse requires ropes and belay devices, making it a thrilling adventure for experienced climbers.

This tour across all the peaks of the Austanbotntind massif starts at Berdalsbandet (1315) on the mountain road (Tindevegen) between Turtagrø and Årdal. The hike goes first on the south ridge and further to the ridge on the main summit. Ropes and belay devices are needed on this traverse, rated at difficulty 3-4.

You will climb 1 main peak and 5 secondary peaks above 2000 meters.
