What do I wear? The temperature can be cooler out on the water so dress accordingly - best to be prepared! Hats and sunscreen are recommended on summer days.
Should I tip the crew? Yes! It is customary to tip the crew & bartender if you enjoyed your experience.
Will it rain? Occasionally. While sailing is an all-weather activity, MBS may need to cancel due to severe or unsafe conditions. In this case, MBS will do it’s best to notify you as soon as possible to save you from the inconvenience. In the event that Manhattan by Sail cancels, customers will be offered alternate dates, subject to availability, or receive a sailing credit for the current or following season.
Temperatures can be up to 10 degrees cooler on the water at night, so bring a jacket or sweater.
Plan to check in at least 30 minutes before departure to avoid missing the sail.
