Your guide and separate driver will pick you up from your hotel at 9 am and take you to the Chiemsee which is one of the most beautiful lakes surrounding Munich. Your guide will take you on the public ferry to Frauenchiemsee where you can have a quick walk around the idyllic island with an old monastery and a beautiful garden café. Then continue by boat to Herrenchiemsee where you will visit (after a 20-minute walk) the last of Kind Ludwig's castles, the one he modeled after Versailles, but never succeeded in finishing. Nevetheless it is a quite impressive structure. You will return via Wildenwart where you will have the opportunity to enjoy an early meal in one of Bavaria's most beautiful beer gardens (ferry, entry into palace, drinks and meals are not included!).
