Top authentic experience in the Apulian territory and precisely in the country of ceramics of Grottaglie, a small town near Taranto that has a real “ceramic district” where master potters have handed down for centuries the precious art of creating beautiful terracotta and ceramic artifacts. You will meet the Master Mimmo Vestita who will take you to visit his workshop, he will tell you the history of Grottaglie and why this country is known for its ceramics. He will then make a demonstration on how to create a clay pot. Guests will be able to try with their own hands to create a vase. At the end of this experience we will continue to visit Casa Vestita, the residence of Mimmo where, in a beautiful garden and in a house made of Lecce stone, you can visit a real personal museum of ceramics. You will also see a Byzantine church carved into the rock, which was found during the excavations of the house and perfectly maintained with great pride by Mimmo. Top experience not to be missed!
