Join the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad’s Cass Scenic Railroad on November 8th and 9th for the Titans of Logging Photography Weekend.
This weekend will feature Shay and Heisler locomotives pulling vintage freight trains throughout the weekend. Attendees will have the opportunity to capture photos and video recordings from remote, scenic locations along the Cass Scenic Railroad and Greenbrier River lines. Night photography session included!
Day 1 will feature the Cass to Durbin line. After dark, a traditional night photo session will follow.
Day 2 will feature the Cass line to Whittaker Station.
This trip has a moderate physical level with stops on hillsides and short hikes over rough terrain.
Ticket price does not include accommodations or transportation. A bagged lunch will be provided.
A sturdy tripod is essential to capture long exposures during the night photography session.
Short hikes between stops can involve uneven, forested terrain—robust footwear ensures comfort and safety.
