#Learn to skipper the Beneteau/ASA First 22 by day in light to moderate winds and sea conditions. Learn basic sailing terminology, parts and functions, helm commands, basic sail trim, points of sail, buoyage, seamanship and safety including basic navigation rules to avoid collisions and hazards.

##Duration The course duration is 2 days and runs from 9:00 AM to approximately 4:30 PM on weekends. Course fee includes the use of the boat, the instructor-captain's time, "Sailing Made Easy" textbook, ASA Logbook, exams, certification, and a 1-year membership in the American Sailing Association. Upon completion of ASA 101, you will be eligible to become a member of SailTime and skipper the ASA Beneteau First 22.
